Benno Dreger, BA, MDiv, RPC, MPCC, PTP holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1989) from the University of Alberta, a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Lutheran Seminary in Edmonton, Alberta (1994) and has completed Masters level training in Counselling Psychology from City University, Seattle Washington. He has received specialized training in cognitive/behavioural therapy, individual and group psychotherapy, human sexuality, family systems, narrative and solution focused therapy, alcohol and drug abuse, marital therapy, mood disorders, and anger management.​

Benno is a certified instructor (PTP) in the internationally renowned PAIRS program and teaches couples the practical application of these intimate relationship skills. Benno is a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and holds a Master Practitioner of Clinical Counselling designation (MPCC). Benno is also trained in divorce mediation, and parenting co-ordination. He currently teaches the Relationship Violence Prevention Program for the Province of British Columbia Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Corrections Branch. He has taught the Parenting After Separation program as well as Finances After Separation for the Justice Education Society. Benno has been working in the counselling field for more than 25 years.
